Mr Rod HillmanPRESIDENT
Rod is a local resident of 4017. Rod leads a Non-Profit Organisation focusing on ecotourism and environmental awareness across Australia and New Zealand. Rod’s skills and experience include governance, not for profit management and business development. Rod provides leadership to the Board, and invaluable strategic advice for SANDBAG.
Debby DragoVICE PRESIDENT
Debby is a local resident of 4017 and brings considerable committee management experience to SANDBAG, having served on various management committees including as the P&C President of Shorncliffe State School. Debby has worked in large organisations and currently teaches Japanese.
Tegan is a local community member. She has a strong financial and business management background working for large businesses and not for profit organisations. Tegan’s skills and experience in overseeing the financial stability of SANDBAG are crucial.
Nicola is a local resident of 4017. Nicola has worked in large corporates, not for profits and medium sized businesses to develop brand marketing activities, websites, social and research strategies. Nicola’s marketing experience and skills will help Sandbag build a stronger and clearer presence in the community.
Paul ChesherGENERAL MEMBER
Paul is an experienced business development and organisational resources expert. Paul lives in 4017 and has operated a successful management consultancy for more than 20 years. Paul’s experience and skills will assist SandBag in development of organisational capabilities.
Tracey JacksonGENERAL MEMBER
Tracey is an experienced legal professional and local resident of 4017. Tracey has worked in various roles within Queensland Government community, natural resources and consumer-oriented departments as well as large corporations. The SANDBAG board benefits from Tracey’s legal knowledge.
Clinton RobertsGENERAL MEMBER
Clinton is a local 4017 resident and an experienced project manager in construction. Clinton works for a south east council and uses his skills to deliver successful project outcomes for residents. Clinton’s experience in project management will assist SandBag in future planning requirements.
Dr Sandra WoodbridgeGENERAL MEMBER
Dr Woodbridge is a leader in the field of human services and not for profit governance. Dr Woodbridge has more than 25 years’ experience working in not for profit and over 17 years in Human Services and Social Work tertiary education. Dr Woodbridge’s knowledge and experience will provide SandBag will strategic direction in the changing landscape for community providers.

Philip Brookes joined SANDBAG Inc in July 2019, bringing with him a broad range of leadership, management, technical, and marketing business skills and experience gained over almost three decades in the commercial and non-profit sectors. He is excited to enhance our efficiency, financial stability, and revenue streams that support the great services we deliver for our community.
Ms Maggie Daunt OPERATIONS MANAGER
Maggie has been with SANDBAG Inc. for over 8 years. She played a key role in the development of SANDBAG’s Domestic and Family Violence Program. Maggie brings many years of experience across the community services sector particularly in the areas of child protection, counselling and legal. Maggie was formerly CEO of SANDBAG Inc. has stayed on with the organisation to coordinate a range of skills training and community programs with SANDBAG Inc.
